Emily graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with degrees in Biology, Spanish Literature/Civilization, and European Studies in 2014. During her undergraduate years, she studied abroad in Wales, worked in a fruit fly research lab, and spent fall Saturdays cheering for the Badgers. She currently is a student at the School of Veterinary Medicine with the class of 2021. Emily has been a veterinary assistant with MVS since 2015 and has worked for large and small animal practices in the Madison area since 2014. She’s considering a future career in shelter medicine, emergency medicine, and general practice.
When not studying hard, Emily enjoys road biking, traveling and hiking. Her favorite trips to date include a spontaneous road trip to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, and seeing the Aurora Borealis in Iceland.
